There are so many things we love about traveling- meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, tasting new foods. But there is something about experiencing the natural wonders of a country that really gives you some perspective on what a vast, diverse world we live in. Whether it’s hiking an active volcano, standing under a thunderous waterfall or cliff jumping into the Atlantic Ocean, experiencing nature in its rawest form is truly humbling. The photos we’ve chosen for our Instagram roundup this month remind us how much breathtaking natural beauty there is in the world and inspire us to search it out and enjoy it to the fullest.

I know what you’re thinking. June? Okay you got me. I’m late with this post. DEAL WITH IT.

How is it July already anyway? Seriously, this year is just flying by. We’re over halfway through! This year is going by in a blink. We’ve loved enjoying the Philippines and learning about this country from a local perspective. As much as we’re loving Asia though, I always get nostalgic for home this time of year, namely for the 4th of July. There’s

so special about the holiday that is lost when celebrating in other parts of the world. I have memories of silly bbqs with friends, the pool filled with random inflatable animals (a giant banana). Setting off semi-illegal fireworks at night and then running inside and turning off all the lights at the sound of a police siren. Homemade veggie burgers, buttered corn on the cob, mountains of potato salad and a plethora of red white and blue desserts. Mmmmm.

But I digress. This post isn’t about food, it’s about photos! And they are good ones!
